These two sisters Momie and Sissy are looking for a new home. They have both been spayed (never had kittens) and are 10 years old. They were born here on the farm and have been together their entire lives. Their mother Purl passed away last year. They have only been confined to the house rarely when they have needed medical attention. They prefer to be outside in the barn, shop and yard. They have done a great job keeping the rodents under control.
The farm has been sold and I will be going on a mission for my church. Unfortunately I can’t take any pets with me so I would like to see them settled into their new home before I leave. I want to do everything I can to make the transition as easy for them as possible. They have been pretty stressed this past year. Their home has been turned upside down. First they watched all of their sheep leave in small groups, then the guardian dogs were gone, they gradually lost all of their favorite beds and places to patrol and hang out as all the “stuff” left, a bunch of cows came in for a month then left. There will continue to be more changes as fences are being removed the land is prepared for an orchard and new tenants move in. Applications are now being accepted for a new guardian and home.
